The trauma’s standing between you and life.
Certain noises, smells, or sights make you shake with fear.
The nightmares, flashbacks, and images that pop into your mind nearly bring you to your knees. To deal with the anxiety, you’ve started to isolate from family and friends, choosing to stay in rather than go out into the world.
The anger’s setting in as you’ve come to hate the person you’ve become.
Living like this is exhausting.
Life on overload…
That happens when you struggle with at least SOME part of every day.
The sadness…
The helplessness…
The anger outbursts…
It makes you feel crazy, and you can’t help but wonder if others around you think so, too.
You can’t continue like this much longer.
EMDR Therapy
Here’s the problem…
Traumatic events aren’t properly stored in your brain. That’s why the flashbacks, nightmares, and other symptoms keep affecting you long after the trauma is over.
When something happens to remind you of the trauma – a look, a smell, a sound, or a specific place – your brain and body react like it’s happening all over again.
The problem is your brain can’t tell the difference between what happened in the past and what’s happening in the present.
A proven approach that can help…
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) helps you process and heal from traumatic events by changing your brain’s relationship to those memories.
It stimulates both sides of your brain with tapping, eye movements, or sounds to help your brain access the trauma and reprocess disturbing memories to help you move past them.
Once the memory is reprocessed and stored properly in your brain…
You can remember the trauma WITHOUT experiencing intense emotions or symptoms.
And if you’re ready for change NOW…
We offer EMDR intensive treatments.
Standard EMDR therapy can take months or even years of weekly sessions. Our intensives can give you results in just a few days.
EMDR intensives extend the session time (usually two to four hours each) and shorten the duration of treatment (usually one to five days).
Whether you need to address a specific event (e.g., an assault, car accident, or natural disaster), childhood trauma, previous attachment wounds, or ongoing traumatic stress (like those faced by first responders, military, or victims of domestic violence)…
EMDR intensive treatments help you move the needle quickly!
Brainspotting
Brainspotting is another powerful, brain-based therapy.
Like EMDR, it helps you access, process, and overcome trauma, stress, and overwhelm.
A “Brainspot” is a “physiological capsule” holding emotional experiences. When these experiences are negative or stressful, they can get triggered by other memories connected to them, causing you distress.
In sessions, we find those Brainspots by examining your eyes in specific positions.
Once located, we reprocess those unresolved stressful experiences, thoughts, feelings, and sensations using various mindfulness techniques.
These techniques work – even if you don’t have trauma!

Chronic pain…
Poor body-image…
Low self-esteem…

EMDR and Brainspotting can help you with any of these challenges.
